We are first generation family farm, with a Micro Dairy and nearly Wild Campsite. Set within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, we are dedicated to creating low input farm produce, back to basics camping and glamping experiences and providing a rustic diy event space.

Open 7 days a week during the month of May through to September for camping & glamping and our honesty shop for Milk & other farm produce is open 24/7.

New for the 2026 season!

Our new giant tipi on site is a space for shelter, shade and anything in-between!

A communal space for campsite residents to use at their leisure, complete with tables & benches and indoor games.

Look out for our pop up milkshake trailer and pizza night, non campsite guests are also welcome to enjoy these pop events!

Exciting News at Penhill Park

MICRO DAIRY NOW OPEN!

We have now opened our microdairy!

We are currently milking 4 Jersey cows that graze the pastures surrounding the farm in the summer and have their calves in tow!

Pre bottles milk and milkshakes are available to buy in the front barn next to the farm house on an honesty basis. Cash or Card payments available!

That’s not really the type of romance we were hoping to see to be honest Woody!

Woody the bull is now residing with our suckler herd, our sucklers are Beef Shorthorn, Luing and a random Angus cross that we call Annie. You might spot them if you’re walking around here!

We have seen a shift over the past couple of weeks in selling out of bottles of whole milk quicker, must be the slight seasonal shift but rest assured we are always trying to figure out and balance so we always have enough available. We process in the morning and the milk is cooled and available to buy from the fridge early afternoon. So if you arrive and the fridge is empty in the morning, it will definitely be full that afternoon so please come back! Also, keep checking on our socials for updates!

This is Rose, one of our youngest Jersey cows. She sometimes forgets she’s an adult and she absolutely loves Sam. Here she looks like she wants my attention but really she wants Sam, he’s stood behind me, that’s who’s she looking at and who she desires.

Our pigs had the best life didn’t they mum?!’

Ronnie loves all of the animals on the farm, and was originally outraged at the thought of us eating any of them. We try not to sugar coat anything and have had a lot of discussions around the fact that if you like to eat meat, the best thing you can do is be sure it’s had the best life it could have and know where it came from.

Ronnie’s favourite piece of information to tell people about the pigs is how they spent time running up to the moor! 🤣

Our Gloucestershire Old Spots are back from the butcher and it’s a very humbling feeling to be able to eat and provide people with quality home grown produce….and my word the Belly Pork looks absolutely amazing 😭

We are still finishing the labels with pricing on the joints and then it will all be available from the honesty shop but if you would like anything specific putting aside I can bundle it to for collection at your convenience!

I think it becomes the next season about a month before and a month after everywhere else up at Penhill! It’s feeling very autumnal here today but nevertheless…we aren’t going full bore with the wintery flavours just yet.

There’s some first faves in the fridge today, Wild Stawb, Chocolate, *Rolno, Banana & *Biscnott

We did it!
To the campers braving the weather and still coming, the friends & locals that dragged themselves up the hill on a dreary bank holiday Sunday to support us.

The pizza oven was burning at full chatter and you drank us nearly dry of cocktails and bottled larger!

Thank you so so much, it’s approaching the end of our campsite season now and we are already planning next year! We can’t wait to keep developing our place, we had such a good time last night!

Did you know….the idea temperature for a cow is 5 degrees?

Our girls have had a boost in the cream level in their milk and it’s all down to the cooler weather. It’s much more comfortable for them, we love to see them happy and relaxing.
There’s a fridge full of milk and I’m about to pasteurise some more so there’s plenty for over the weekend!
DON’T FORGET! Posh Milkshakes TONIGHT (FRIDAY) at the campsite! 6-9pm come for a tea time treat!
